Let us pray, and ask now, for God’s blessing upon this sacred ground.

O God,
May our sorrow and sadness be transformed by the creation of this space
Dedicated to those who dedicated their lives, to bring healing and hope to others.

By digging into the earth, and creating beauty under Your skies
We seek to create a space where all can come to remember
and to celebrate the lives who will be honored in this place forever.

We ask Your blessing, now, upon this sacred ground
and upon all who will labor in its creation
For we trust and know, that in every time and place,
You bless all good and great works, created and given for others.

In your Glorious Name we pray, Amen.
